Changes to Australian Employment Law
From 01 July 2024:
- High Income Threshold rises to $175,000. Employees on higher salaries can't claim unfair dismissal in the Fair Work jurisdiction.
Right to Disconnect not so Restrictive
The right to disconnect, which is intended to be about employees having the right to refuse to answer their employer’s calls, emails etc out of hours, will be set out in section 333M of the Fair Work Act.
